Brooke Cup 2026

Sunday 29th of March saw Southland proudly host the 2026 Brooke Cup, bringing together players of all age groups from across Otago and Southland for a full day of competition. The standard was high across every grade, with tough, closely fought matches and plenty of determination on display. While Otago ultimately took out the title this year, the true highlight was the spirit of the day — great rallies, quality badminton, and plenty of laughs shared between friends both on and off the court. The Brooke Cup continues to be a fantastic showcase of the long-standing rivalry between our two provinces, played in the best possible way with sportsmanship, camaraderie, and a shared love of the game at its heart.
